Trossachs Tryst has been purpose-built on its own 8 acre site, set amidst beautiful scenery (on Sustrans route 7c) just outside the bustling tourist town of Callander.
The hostel, which is the only one in the Trossachs area, opened in August 1997 and is finished to a very high standard, hence its nickname ‘Poshtel’ The rooms are all en-suite and are either 8, 4 or single bedded. The 4 bed family rooms have their own private kitchen / dining facilities and can be used as twin rooms on request.
There is a spacious dining / common room, well equipped kitchen, a laundry and drying room.
A large meeting / recreation room is also available and may be booked separately for conferences, parties, etc.
We have an on-site Cycling Centre, which also sells basic provisions.
Other activities available locally include hill walking, pony trekking,
canoe hire / instruction, fishing and sailing.
