Scottish Hostels, Group Accommodation, Bunkhouses, and Camping Barns in the Inner Hebrides
’BEST ECO-HOSTEL IN SCOTLAND’ (GTBS). Tucked into the rocky outcrops at the north end of the island, Iona Hostel has spectacular views to Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, and beyond Rhum to the Black Cuillins of Skye. The hostel is situated on the working croft of Lagandorain (the hollow of the otter).
This land has been worked for countless generations, creating the familiar Hebridean patchwork of wildflower meadow, crops and grazing land, home to an amazing variety of plants and birds. It offers quiet sanctuary for those that seek it, within easy reach of island activities.
Whether travelling on your own, with friends, or as part of one of our many visiting groups, Iona Hostel offers you a warm welcome - with the best views this side of heaven. 4 star STB. Green Tourism Gold Award. We regret no dogs.
