VisitScotland
It's written in the Stars - a simple, impartial, consistent approach to quality.
VisitScotland, under the Scottish Tourist Board brand, administers the 5-star grading schemes which assess the quality standards of all types of visitor accommodation, including Hostels, Backpackers and Bunkhouses as well as visitor attractions from castles and historic houses to garden centres and arts venues. We grade around 80% of the accommodation in Scotland and 90% of the visitor attractions - so wherever you want to stay or visit, we've got it covered. Schemes are monitored all year round - each establishment is reviewed once a year. We do the hard work so you can relax and enjoy your holiday.
